Meet Our Dental Team

Barbara is a Registered Dental Hygienist at Summit Dental Clinic. She provides a full scope of dental hygiene services from treatment of gum disease to preventive oral care for healthy tissue.

Barbara graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at The College of New Caledonia in Prince George and she has been working at Summit Dental since 2001. She is strongly motivated by the desire to help people. Her favourite aspect about being a hygienist is building long term relationships with clients while providing regular hygiene care.

When seeing Barbara you can expect to receive warm, caring and competent treatment. Barb would appreciate an opportunity to get to know you and positively impact you oral health.

Outside of work Barb is a wife and a mother of 2 grown sons. She enjoys spending time outside hiking and kayaking with family and friends.

Jane, a Registered Dental Hygienist, joined Dr. Wotton's dental team in 1999. A native of Kamloops, she graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at Camosun College in Victoria. She loves getting to know patients and their families. Her professionalism and commitment is reflected in her positive attitude and delivery of care.

In her spare time, Jane enjoys participating in fitness classes, hiking and skiing. She loves to travel and spend time with her family.

Deb started her career in dentistry in Nova Scotia, where she attended Dalhousie University's Dental Hygiene Program. For the past number of years she has called Kamloops home. Deb joined Summit Dental as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2018. The most rewarding part of Deb's job is seeing people reach their dental health goals and comfort on their own terms. She provides a warm and welcoming environment to support her patients.

Outside of work she enjoys outdoor activity and anything crafty.

Danielle completed the Certified Dental Assisting Program at the College of the Rockies in Cranbrook in 2013. She has been a valuable member of the team at Summit Dental since November 2013. Her favourite part of being a CDA is having a part in making people happy about their smiles.

When not working Danielle enjoys spending time outside being active with her 2 children and labrador retriever.

Chelsea grew up in Kamloops. She attended The College of New Caledonia in Prince George where she completed the Dental Assisting Program in 2017. She joined the team at Summit Dental Clinic in July 2017 and has become an integral part of the team in providing gentle, competent dental care to patients.

When not working, Chelsea likes spending time with family, camping and going to Penticton. She also enjoys animals and her cat Meowmeow.

Gayle is a friendly and capable team member who will greet you on your arrival at Summit Dental Clinic, as she is the face at the desk and the voice on the phone. She has been with the practice since 1997 when she started as a part-time CDA, after graduating from the Vancouver Community College Dental Assisting Program. Over the years Gayle has moved to a full-time front desk position. She is married with 2 grown sons. When not working Gayle enjoys hiking with her dog Zion and paddle boarding.
